Just looking back on some photos in my library, and I found some shots of one of my first and favorite home grows. This was from a seed I found in a Hemp Hop purchase of Stardust CBG. While their packaged Stardust CBG wasn't very terpy and didn't have a strong flavor or aroma, this home grow was insane on the nose. It STUNK. Burnt rubber, fuel, and a million skunks having a party in my basement. There was no fruitiness or pine like in my very first home grow of Cherry Mountain Wine, it was just straight dank, and was unrelentingly gassing my house.
I didn't trim much of it because most of it was used for full-plant tinctures, but I'd definitely love to grow this strain again. The smoke was pretty flavorful and had some nice diesel and dark chocolate notes. The effects were surprisingly strong for a CBG cultivar, I'm sure it naturally grew a fair amount of THCa with the potency I experienced with it. I still have seeds in the storage, so I may take a crack at it again soon. Maybe with some better ventilation, haha!
